Offering support that begins with relationship and leads to resilience, healing & change.
About
Every human has an inner light to lead them. That light can be difficult to access when there are experiences of trauma, challenging relationships, difficult occupations, cultural stigmas and or feelings of depression and anxiety.
Therapy starts with creating a safe and trusting relationship. As the relationship develops therapy becomes a place of healing and change. A place that supports keeping the light bright despite the many demands that are placed upon our bodies, minds and spirits.

As a therapist I engage clients in cultivating their self compassionate voice and finding their strengths. I will use tools such as EMDR, mindfulness, parts work and somatic awareness to support clients in building resilience and coping mechanisms.
I am open, affirming and will work with all gender identities and sexual preferences including trans and transitioning individuals. I approach race and ethnicity from a stance of cultural humility and social justice.
I will also use outdoor therapy and draw on the healing power of nature when clients are interested.

My clients are teens, college students and adults and they all come from diverse backgrounds.
I specifically focus on working with experiences of past or current trauma (physical, sexual or spiritual). This includes trauma from experiences of racial, sexual or gender discrimination.
I also provide support for relationships, parenting, depression and anxiety, and stress or challenges that arrive from life transitions.
I offer support in person or outside with walk and talk sessions or remote sessions with a secure tele-health platform.
